Amy was the most accommodating, flexible and encouraging person to have around during the planning months. She knew that I was pre-occupied with exams, so went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. For someone who usually likes to be in control of everything, it was very comforting and easy for me to trust Amy and believe that she had it all sorted out - she did! Her presence on the day was incredibly necessary, she was setting tables, cleaning out dishes, rearranging flowers, receiving deliveries and a hundred other tasks. Amy (and Steph) worked incredibly hard during the wedding of my daughter. There were a large number of guests, popping backwards and forwards to the kitchen with food to dispose of, plates and cups to clear away or to ask for one thing or another. At no time did they lose their cool, they were tidy, organised, smiling and friendly. They were efficient and extremely hard working.
They cleared the tables – weaving amoungst guests with food and plates – resulting in no breakages or spillages.
They made coffee and tea, they cut up the wedding cake, they continually tidied and cleared – keeping a kitchen to be proud of.
At the end they stayed longer than they had been asked to, to help with the clear up – in fact Amy left with us at the very end – still smiling.
I couldn’t praise them more highly or recommend them more strongly.
